Individuals Seeking Legal Assistance
If you are a low income Albertan and unable to obtain Legal Aid (either because you don't qualify or because your legal issue is an area not covered by Legal Aid), there may be a pro bono clinic or program operating in your area that may be able to help you. These programs provide legal advice, guidance, and information at no cost. In order to qualify, you may be asked to provide personal financial information.

Calgary Legal Guidance
Calgary Legal Guidance provides free legal advice for low income individuals. Volunteer lawyers donate their professional time to meet with you and help resolve your problem. If they cannot offer you direct assistance, they will help refer you to someone who can.

The Central Alberta Legal Clinic is a free legal advice service for people who do not qualify for legal aid in the Red Deer area. There is also a clinic in Lacombe and service by videoconference in Rocky Mountain House.
