Court Program Support Volunteer
ROLE OF COURT PROGRAM SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS:
Maintain a welcoming office, assist clients and lawyers, ensure accurate documentation, and interact with court personnel.
Please note that Court Program Support Volunteers do not provide legal advice to clients.
Duties:
Assist self-represented individuals and volunteer lawyers with administrative support as required by the CCDC or KB Amicus Programs
Conduct intake and triage processes, including assessing client needs and directing them to appropriate resources
Assist in conflict management
Perform additional tasks as needed
Who Can Apply:
Any student pursuing an undergraduate degree or a law degree, internationally trained lawyers going through the NCA process, as well as legal assistants and paralegals.
