The Resource Bank has been compiled by PBLA to encourage and support the delivery of pro bono legal services in Alberta. The goal is to provide quick, easy to use legal information for volunteer lawyers, articling students and pro bono clinic staff in Alberta.
The Resource Bank is a password-protected members' only site and several materials are restricted for use. You must REGISTER as a volunteer lawyer, articling student or pro bono clinic staff to be approved for membership in order to access these materials. Once approved, click on any of the legal areas in the sidebar to access each resource section. The Resource Bank is updated periodically and some of the links may not be accessible. If you are a member looking for specific information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond to your request.
Please note that several items in the Resource Bank are available to the public, and do not require registration or a password. Only the items restricted for use by the legal community require membership approval.
Each section contains:
- Summaries, Overviews, "Cheat Sheets" and other relevant reference materials
- Relevant Legislation
- Court Forms, Statement Forms and Applications
- Referral Information
